Part of the Barnes Music Festival.

Join us after the Boat Race (which takes place this Sunday at 6 pm) for the final event of the Barnes Music Festival. A traditional Choral Evensong will be sung in the inspiring setting of St Mary’s Barnes led by the combined choirs of St Mary’s Barnes and St Michael’s Barnes under the direction of Daniel Turner and Dr Martin Neary. The service will include Hear My Prayer by Purcell and the Preces and Responses are set by Martin Neary.

The address will be given by Edward Higginbottom, Professor of Choral Music at the University of Oxford and known internationally for his leadership of New College Choir.

The service will be followed by a reception to celebrate the Festival, to which all are invited.
