Barnes is a great place to visit and a wonderful place to live. It only takes 30 minutes to get from Barnes to central London, but it feels as though it's a leafy country village. It has good transport links, great shops and restaurants, some brilliant schools and offers many community activities. Life in Barnes has a friendly relaxed feel, and a walk by the Thames, or a trip to feed the ducks on the village pond on a sunny day, makes any Barnes resident thankful to be living in such a beautiful village.
