Barnes Trail Oar A

You're outside Barnes Railway station: about eight trains an hour run from Platform 1 via Putney and Clapham Junction to Waterloo Monday to Saturday, and about four an hour on Sundays – on Sundays trains to Waterloo go from Platform 2, over the railway bridge. Also cross over the railway bridge to Platform 3 for trains towards Richmond – these run approx. four times an hour Monday to Saturday, less frequently on Sundays.

If you've just arrived, walking along Station Road will take you towards Barnes Pond: you can pick up the Barnes Trail either by turning into Barnes Green through the gate on the right at the zebra crossing (Oar 9 is against the fence); or by continuing a little further, where you will find Oar 5 on the grassy traffic island opposite the Pond and the Sun Inn.
