Christmas late shopping is over for 2010 with successful events in White Hart Lane and Barnes village.
There was an excellent turnout, with the local shops staying open to welcome their customers and in many cases to add some festive cheer during the cold weather in the form of mince pies, wine and even, in the case of the fish shop, some rather good Martinis!
Local choirs and the Barnes Concert Band kept everybody entertained while Father Christmas put in an appearance at Rose House.
